Hiking tour to the Parcines Waterfall (1,073m)
6 km from the spa town of Merano, at the gateway to the Texel Group Nature Park, the quiet village of Parcines with its districts Rablà and Tel welcomes you. Nestled in the Lower Val Venosta Valley, homeland of Peter Mitterhofer, the inventor of the typewriter, Parcines is teeming with happy people, picturesque buildings (such as the Stachelburg and the Spauregg Castle), marvelous walking paths and mighty mountain peaks that frame the village like a precious painting. Recommended highlight: The Parcines Waterfall - one of the most beautiful natural attractions of the region.
- Starting point: Hotel Waldhof
- Trails: Take path no. 1 (from the Winkler Hof to the Birkenwald Restaurant); continue on path no. 23 to the "runway" of the waterfall and then walk up to the Gasthof Wasserfall (1,073m). Follow the asphalt road to the Birkenwald Restaurant, then proceed on path no. 1 to the Parcines Waalweg path. Take path no. 7A to return to Rablà.
